Saxophonique was created using source material derived solely from recordings of saxophone extended techniques (trills, overtones, air, key pops, slap tonguing etc…)

The title does not refer to the Symphonic form as such but rather to the blown up sound world impossible to achive as a single saxophone player. A sound world which stretches the already extended saxophone techniques by means of acousmatic techniques.

Performance at l’Espace Senghor in Brussels. Feb 15, 2012
